PROGRAM
This is an educational and mentoring program to help minority, small business owners elevate their businesses to the next level by offering a free business-training program with a multi-layered approach:

Mentorship / Coaching
Five businesses will be selected through an application and interview process. To be eligible for the program, the business must have annual revenues less than 1 million dollars, have been in business for up to one year, and have been negatively impacted by the pandemic.
Program Details:
Education Program: The program will offer free training sessions that will enhance the business owner’s operational efficiency and capability to grow and elevate by increasing knowledge of the best practices in the business world. There will be approximately 15 sessions that will provide each participant with specific business concepts.
Mentoring / Coaching: The program will have a host of knowledgeable business partners present at each session and can follow up with the assigned business for up to a year after graduation. The mentors will aid in the following:

Develop and improve new and updated skills

Create a robust worth plan as to why customers should give that respective business its business

Develop a financial plan that will turn into a roadmap for success

Work with lender to ensure the respective business is bankable
Timeline:
Courses will be on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Classes will be held at the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce
